The Pittsburgh Pirates gave their fans a bobblehead doll over the weekend — but what is the doll giving to the fans?

One finger points outside the glove on pitcher Tom Gorzelanny’s bobble, which was free to all fans at Saturday night’s Pirates-Phillies game at PNC Park.

Which finger is it — the index, or the middle?

All About ME!!

A combination of alcohol, bees and a gun resulted in a Williamsburg man making a trip to the hospital Sunday.

The incident happened around 2:00 Sunday yesterday afternoon in Frankstown Township in the Canoe Creek area.

According to police 57-year-old David Walls had been drinking when he tried to shoot down some bees flying above him using a .22 caliber revolver loaded with buckshot. Walls ended up shooting himself in the left hand causing soft tissue damage. .

Walls was treated and released at Altoona Regional Health System.

A mother-to-be heading for the hospital Sunday morning ended up having her child in a Dairy Queen parking lot in Grand Junction.

The woman was being driven to the hospital when she went into labor, KKCO-TV reported. The driver pulled off into the Dairy Queen parking lot near the Interstate 70 Business Loop and 30 Road and called 911.Firefighters with the Clifton Fire Protection District arrived just before the newborn baby girl.

Firefighter Mike Lockwood delivered the baby. He said it’s the 10th baby he’s delivered in his 23 years with the Clifton Fire Protection District.

Lockwood said the new baby and the new mom were taken to the hospital and are both in good health.

When Jane began working in strip clubs four years ago, she earned between $600 and $1,000 a night.

“I used to just walk through the bar and men would come to me and ask for a dance. It was easy,” says the 23-year-old.

“I did really well for the first few years but then it got harder to get guys to buy a dance. It burns you out after a while. I would just go in for an hour or two and then leave.”

Lots of “Janes” (not her real name) have left the nightly grind. The number of licensed “burlesque dancers” in the city of Toronto has plummeted in the last decade. There were 1,254 certified strippers in 2007, down from 2,834 in 1998.

The exodus is hurting strip clubs, which now frequently lack both performers and patrons. Up to 10 clubs in Toronto have closed in the last five years.

There were reports last week that the industry’s hard times are behind “escalating” threats against Immigration Minister Diane Finley over Conservative legislation to keep foreign strippers out of Canada. The RCMP increased security around Finley, although the nature of the threats was not specified.

I am not a news reporter so I won’t try to analyze why the Sox are in a slump. You can read that on boston.com. The reason I am posting this is just to re-assure you that while the Sox are not playing their best ball at the moment, they are still ahead of the Yankees. So as far as I’m concerned, we’re in good shape. A weak analysis of the sox performance, yes, but that’s how I view it.

P.S.-If you want to view chicks who dig the sox, check out sexysoxgirls.com. Pics from amatuer sox fans in their outfits showing their team spirit. Here’s an sample….
