Well, it wasn’t pretty, but the Celts found a way to beat the Spurs. The Celts were down by 22 at one point, but managed to climb back into the game in the third quarter. I was a little skeptical on Sam Cassell joining the Celtics this far into the season. To be honest, I was a skeptical of having Cassell join the Celts at all. I recall hearing earlier this season that Gary Peyton wanted to come out of retirement and play for the Celts. I am hearing Peyton’s agent is talking to the Celtics front office. Now that Cassell is here and Rondo is playing off the wall, I don’t think Peyton can do much for the Celts at this point.

The Celts have a big game Tuesday night when they play the Houston Rockets who are on a 22 game win streak. Can the Celts be the New York Giants of the NBA and stop the Rockets? My money is on the Celts.
